A Weekend in the Country with Meemaw

Authors: Shala Alexander and Kyra Wills Luckett and Illustrator Trevor Lucas are all related and have the same Grandmother. Both authors and illustrator of this book felt it was time to share with the world how wonderful their Meemaw was and how great grandmothers are in general. This book will not only speak to the child audience, but it also makes room for parents to reminisce and share their own adventures spent with their grandmother. This book is about love, family, creativity, teamwork, hope and faith in something greater than yourself, and most importantly the life lesson that even though you grow older you never lose what’s been instilled in you as a child.
